Francisco Javier Peinado

Javier Peinado is an official of the European Commission working as head of sector for natural resources, ecosystems and cultural heritage at the executive agency EASME. His team composed of 10 project officers implement and monitoring the H2020 work programme in the related fields, in particular a number of projects contributing to the EU urban agenda, sustainable cities through nature based solutions and improving well-being and health in cities. Previously he has been working as project officer in DG research and innovation dealing with different subjects such as ecological technologies, water pollution and control of industrial emissions. He is industrial chemical engineer from the University of Sevilla (Spain).
